On April 1st 1997, GH Supplies Ltd first opened for business.
Utilising the same transport, warehouse and accounts facilities as the parent company, we made the decision to start small and only take on what we knew we could handle and handle properly. That stance has been the basis of what GH Supplies Ltd have been able to expand on and has been the reason why we have been able to grow our customer base consistently and almost entirely on reputation.
We are situated in Southfleet, Kent which is approximately a 5 minute drive from Bluewater. Our location allows us to have direct access to all major routes into our daily delivery areas across the South East. This includes London, Kent, Surrey, Sussex, Essex, Berkshire, Hertfordshire and Hampshire. We also have accounts with a variety of national courier services for deliveries further afield in the United Kingdom.
We aim to offer a next day delivery to the aforementioned areas on all stocked items and a same day delivery service where possible. Lead times will always be communicated to the customer at time of quotation and updated throughout the order process.
We do not have a minimum order value although there may be occasions where supplier haulage charges will have to be passed on. The customer is always informed of this at time of quotation.
We hold stock of an extensive range of building materials and are constantly adding new lines.
On occasions, you will no doubt have a requisition for an item that you have not used before and possibly not heard of. In our experience, it is commonplace for most merchants and distributors to not want to step outside of their comfort zone and standard stock portfolio and are more than likely to wave away enquiries they are not familiar with. This is not the case at GH Supplies Ltd. If we encounter a new or obscure item, we will go out of our way to find out what it is and where to get it. On the rare occasion that we can’t help, we will do our utmost to steer you in the right direction.
We are constantly striving to add new customers to our business and are able to open new accounts very quickly with the minimum of fuss. We have a good relationship with a number of suppliers and credit reference sources. As such, we are able to get information fast, enabling us to open new accounts within 24 hours.
